Start Time for public 10:00am ...... End 5pm
For those who
are showing please could you arrive between 8:00 and
10:00am
Last years’ event
exceeded our expectations. We more than doubled the
number of cars present on the fields, had an estimated
2,000 people attend the event and doubled the amount
raised for the nominated charities.
The event has been organised to provide a great local
day out for all the family.
Available to see will be some of the latest models
from dealers, motor sports cars including rally, sports
and race prepared cars, as well the many Owners Clubs
who now regularly attend the event. As well as all
the cars, there will be many stalls, rides, bouncy
castles to please everyone.
Would you like to help organise this year’s
event? We are looking for people with contacts within
the motor trade, a background in Marketing & PR
or would just like to get involved with the event.
We regularly meet on Tuesday evenings at the DeHavilland
Arms from 8:00pm. Alternatively, we are contactable
through this web site.
Based on the growing success of the last two years,
this year the monies raised by the event, while still
supporting the School and the Church will also support
nominated charities. This year’s nominated charities
will be the Macmillan Cancer Relief and the Phyllis
Tuckwell Hospice.
FAQ:
(Q) If I'm a dealership
what is my reason for exhibiting?
(A) Apart from
a great day out, you will a huge shop window to the
public. With an expected 2000 plus people coming,
surely that's got to worth one day out of the showroom.
(Q) If i'm a motor
sport team, what can I gain from being there?
(A) As with the
dealers question...a hugh shop window for gaining
exposure of your team and you never know you might
even gain some
new sponsorship deals.
